Rollei concept camera 1925/26

*** SOLD ***
This is an old camera from Rollei/F&H which has just been discovered at the vault of Rollei in Braunschweig. It was the very first concept for a twinlens camera, created in 1925/26. So the concept shows "only" the concept of the front part,as 1 taking lens and 1 viewfinder lens to be focused at the same time. The move is done (as still today) via a "Zahnstange". You can see on the pictures from the side (the brass part) the filmholder is not part of this concept, because the rollfilm was not in the market at that time. In 1929 it was possible to introduce the first Rolleiflex to the market, because then film became available.( Rolleiflex means  ROLLfilm+hEIdecke). The owner of F&H was an experienced ingenieur (in former times working for Voigtlaender) and with every camera Rollei sells even today,we see this name. The camera already gives a chance to look via a mirror from the top through the viewfinder lens. It is a real reflex concept and is the very first one !! In the middle of the 30th other companies from Far East start copying the camera, without respecting the patents from Europe. At that time it was possible. These companies were Yashica and Seagull.

It comes with some copies of the first patents of F+H as well from this camera to show it's authenticity.
