Today we have very nice set of Leica Monochrom editions (both M9Monochrom) with a collaboration of a world famous photographer and friend of the Store ; Jock Sturges. Jock is an American photographer, best known for his images of nude adolescents and their families. He worked primarily with a large 8x10-inch-format view camera and then went on to digital, using the Leica S camera and it's lenses which resulted in the famous "The Leica Project" both Jock and Leica Store Lisse produced this year !! Before Sturges completed his studies in photography at the San Francisco Art Institute he had previously studied Perceptual Psychology. He stresses the defining influence this combination had on him. Unlike some of his contemporaries, he does not emphasise eroticism or sensuality, but rather natural beauty. A concept he has remained true to for decades and Leica Store Lisse is proud to be part of this for almost a decade as well !!
