Elliott Erwitt

Since we had so many positive reactions on the latest posts on Facebook with our limited edition cameras and sets we did not want you miss out on one of our favourites !!
So "todays" limited camera is one which we produced in collaboration with Elliott Erwitt who's an American documentary photographer considered to be one of the masters in (Leica) photography.
Known for his candid and often humorous black-and-white images, Erwitt is responsible for some of the most iconic photographs of the 20th century, including indelible portraits of figures like Marilyn Monroe, Che Guevara, and Richard Nixon. My "personal "favourite" image from Elliott is the one we also added in this post and which is named : "Woman posing in center of paparazzi mob." and has got quite a nice size (55 x 65 cm) !! The M9Monochrom was delivered here on the 22nd of October in 2012 and funny to know is that almost one and half year later “Leica” used this exact same idea for their “100 years of Leica Ann” auction but then was with an analoque MP instead.
