When the Leica à la carte program for the digital Leica M models was launched, the Leica à la carte demonstration set was used to show the customer the options for individualization. It was only available for authorized Leica dealers and was not intended for sale!
The set is equipped with three camera bodies, a silver chrome M9-P, a black painted M9 and a black chrome Leica Monochrome. These models could be personalized via the à la carte program.
An absolute special feature of this set is that the three camera bodies are prototypes / pre-series models!
Included in the set are the M9 with the number M1, the M9-P with the number M17 and the monochrome with the number M9. A sample fan with the camera body leathers available in the à la carte program complements the offering.
This à la carte demonstration set is the first one worldwide offered for sale!
It would be almost impossible to find a second set.
The samples M1 and M17 are in very good condition A-B, only the sample M9 shows some signs of usage and has a dent on the back of the top plate.
All three MUSTER are only Demo-units WITHOUT any function.
