With the release of the Leica MP (typ 240) titan in 2016, Leica presented its fifth limited edition crafted from titanium. This special edition is strictly limited to only 333 units, and includes two masterpieces in lens construction: a Leica Summicron-M 28 mm f/2 asph. and a Leica APO-Summicron-M 50 mm f/2 asph. This is also the first time that these two lenses have been produced with an anodised titanium finish. Camera and lenses are never used before and therefore brand new !!
The limited edition number from the set is : 219 / 333 (and Leica number : 9010301).

Highlights of the M-P (Typ 240) Titanium body :

  • Solid titanium body with clear lacquer finish and black cowhide leather (body shows some titanium paint loss as you can see on the attached images).
  • Top cover plate, base plate and control elements are made of solid titanium
  • Classic Leica engraving filled in black on the top cover and special edition number on the hot shoe.
  • 90 grams lighter than the standard Leica M-P (Typ 240).
  • Technical features identical to the Leica M-P (Typ 240).
  • Outstanding build quality, Made in Germany.

  • Made from titanium anodized aluminum with matching front and rear caps
  • Feet scale and focal length engravings filled in red
  • Retaining ring surrounds the front element is engraved with the unique special edition number

  • Outstanding build quality, Made in Germany

Highlights of the APO-Summicron-M 50mm f/2 ASPH Titanium :

  • Made from titanium anodized aluminum with matching front and rear caps
  • Feet scale and focal length engravings filled in red
  • Unique special edition number is engraved on the bayonet ring, below the ‘Made in Germany’ engraving and the serial number of the lens
  • Technical features identical to the standard Leica APO-Summicron-M 50mm f/2 ASPH lens
