Leica M6 "ROYAL WEDDING" set in silver. The special limited edition of the Leica M6 silver in chrome finish camera was released in a total of only 200 units in 1995 for the Nordisk Foto Import A/S to commemorate Prince Joachim of Denmark's marriage to Miss Alexandra Manley, Hong Kong on November 18, 1995.
It was/is supplied in a white corrugated box and has an emblem printed on it. Inside, the camera is cased in a deep burgundy wooden presentation box which has very nice deep sea blue velvet. The camera comes with a Leica Summicron-M 1:2.0/35mm chrome lens and a matching plastic lens hood and cap supplied.
Together, the documentation papers also include a letter of authentication with the serial number of issued handwritten on. The total quantity of this edition was 200 in total and thus, each serial number was engraved or written as xxx-200.
The supplied Summicron-M 35mm f/2.0 has no special encoding nor engraved with any relevant theme with this special event. Limited edition number of this set is : 102/200
