500 were produced in 2000 for the Chinese market.
This camera amounts to a M6 Millenium Black Paint (with the M3 style rewind), a .85 finder instead of the .72, and a special Dragon engraving on the back of the top plate.
Each camera has a special series serial number on the back of the top plate number of "XXX - 500".
