Leica M6 "Rooster" 207/300
Leica M6 Rooster 1968-1988 Chrome with bottom plate protective film still on, engraved on back "SPECIAL EDITION Of300 PCS FOR SCHMIDT GROUP LEICA CAMERA GMBH GERMANY", the accessory shoe engraved with the serial number and 207/300, with wood presentation box, original makers box and warranty card with serial number, carrying strap, instructions, Leica Pass International and scroll. Together with matching Leica Summicron Rooster 50mm f2 silver finish lens with original box and warranty card with serial number and soft leather zippered pouch.
In 1993 the Leica M 6 Rooster was introduced, it is a special collector edition which was made for the Schmidt Group ; the Leica agency for Southeast Asia. Celebrating the Year of the Rooster , it has a golden rooster engraved on top , along with an inscription in Chinese characters which reads " Leica-Good Luck " . Of the 300 numbers alotted only 268 Rooster M 6's were completed. Camera comes with matching serial numbered lens, a Leica 50mm f2.0 Summicron.
