Leica R3 "GOLD"
In 1979 1000 GOLD R3's were made to commemorate the 100th Birthday of Oskar Barnack, the inventor of the Leica camera, the 100 Jahre Oskar Barnack. The body covering is black lizard skin. Oskar's facsimile signature is on the top of the pentaprism. The lens is a matching gold 50/1.4 Summilux. Serial numbers 1523851 to 1524850.
