In 1979 1000 GOLD R3's were made to commemorate the 100th Birthday of Oskar Barnack, the inventor of the Leica camera, the 100 Jahre Oskar Barnack. The body covering is black lizard skin. Oskar's signature is on the top of the pentaprism. The lens is a matching gold 50/1.4 Summilux. Serial numer is 100.0604 .
