The chrome IIICK,"never" Leica made the IIICK with the engraving "Luftwaffen-Eigentum" at the back as with this camera is the case !! Only a batch of 50 cameras is known and started with serial number : 387100 and end with 387049. This one in particular is quite amazing since it is the exact same one which is mentioned in the Lager book itself (on page 86) !!!

The Leica IIIcK 389567K and Summitar 578707 both went to Berlin on 7.5.43 on shipment 9634 and not many were delivered with the Red K,a very rare outfit. IIIcK 387103K went to Berlin on 27.2.42 on shipment 29491 and as you know,too,it is the most rare IIIC L.Eig. camera ever produced by Leitz as only 50 chrome with the K on the top plate were made with the L.Eig engravings. How many of them survived world war II? Not many, I think.
