LEICA M6 TITANIUM with TITANIUM LEICA SUMMILUX-M 1:1.4/50mm

This is the Leica M6 in its most stylish incarnation-titanium with a black calf leather body cover in emu-style. These titanium bodies were produced from 1992 till 1998 when it was replaced by the M6 TTL version. The camera has got the classical 0.72 viewfinder. Together with the titanium finish lenses, this version was a low-volume production item and commanded a higher price than the standard M6’s at the time. When it was brought to market in 1992,it was offered together with the titanium Summilux 35mm/1.4 and in 1996 another titanium lens was added which is this Leica Summilux 50mm/1.4 which is offered together with the body in this set. At the Photokina from 1998 the final titanium lens was introduced (at that time) which was a titanium Leica Elmarit 90mm/2.8 and limited to only 500 pieces.
