This is a very rare and 100% original and authentic Leica MP in chrome which has got serialnumber : MP-188. All parts of this camera are 100% original which you do not see that often with these rare and older type camera. Ending on “88” makes this camera even more special for the Chinese people,being “88” a very Lucky number.
This camera was also used by the famous art sculpturer Liao Yibai,who took this camera as a model for his art piece;”Fake Leica” which can be seen in the Leica Shop in Lisse as in Leica Solms itself in Germany. Only 3 pieces are made of this “Fake Leica”.
