Collecting Fine Art - The LUMAS Portfolio Vol. III

A new perspective on accessible collecting.
A kaleidoscope of 85 works by renowned artists as well as some younger, striking talents.

The LUMAS Editions Gallery has defined its mission as making high-quality art available to a broader range of collectors—at affordable prices. Quite successfully too, we might add! This third edition of Collecting Fine Art offers all art lovers both detailed practical guidance as well as inspiration and ideas. As before, LUMAS founders Stefanie Harig and Marc Ullrich present a mix of established artists—Robert Lebeck, Jock Sturges, Nino Malfatti, Patrick Demarchelier—and carefully selected new talents. The resulting volume features special items from the LUMAS portfolio, which in addition to photography, also includes painting, illustration and architecture. Illuminating essays by Claudius Seidl and Erich Lessing and an interview with Jock Sturges provide a solid theoretical background to the artworks.

There’s everything here from analogue masterpieces to digitally interpreted concepts and contemporary painting.
